1. Copyright Ownership

All content, materials, features, designs, systems, and intellectual property available on or through the NHE Tutor App, newhigheducation.com, and any related New High Education digital service are owned by New High Education, licensed to New High Education, or used with permission, unless otherwise stated.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • App design and layout
  • Website design and layout
  • Logos and branding
  • Text and written content
  • Learning materials
  • AI Tutor prompts, structures, and educational formats
  • Lesson formats and answer formats
  • Graphics and icons
  • Images and illustrations
  • Videos and audio materials
  • Software features
  • Source code and platform architecture
  • Databases and content collections
  • User interface elements
  • Curriculum-support resources
  • Downloadable materials
  • Marketing materials
  • Documentation and policy pages

2. Copyright Statement

Unless otherwise stated, the content and materials on the NHE Tutor App and New High Education website are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.

No part of the NHE Tutor App, website, learning materials, digital content, branding, or platform features may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, uploaded, displayed, sold, modified, transmitted, translated, adapted, or commercially exploited without prior written permission from New High Education.


3. Permitted Personal and Educational Use

Users may access and use the NHE Tutor App and its educational content for personal learning, revision, teaching support, parent support, and authorised educational purposes.

Students may use AI Tutor responses and learning materials to:

  • Understand academic topics
  • Revise school subjects
  • Practise questions
  • Improve learning
  • Prepare for classwork, homework, tests, and examinations

Teachers, parents, and guardians may use platform materials to support approved student learning.

This permission is limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and may be withdrawn if the platform or content is misused.


4. Prohibited Use of NHE Content

Users must not, without written permission from New High Education:

  • Copy large sections of platform content
  • Reproduce NHE learning materials for public distribution
  • Sell or resell any NHE content
  • Upload NHE content to another website, app, platform, or social media page as their own
  • Use NHE content to create a competing product or service
  • Remove copyright notices, logos, watermarks, or ownership labels
  • Translate, adapt, or modify content for commercial use
  • Use NHE branding for personal or business promotion
  • Scrape, extract, download, or bulk-copy platform content
  • Reverse engineer or copy the app design, database structure, or platform features
  • Share paid or restricted content with unauthorised persons
  • Use AI Tutor outputs or platform content in a way that breaches New High Education policies

5. NHE Branding and Trademarks

The names New High Education, NHE Tutor App, NHE AI Tutor, associated logos, visual identity, colours, slogans, graphics, and brand elements belong to New High Education or are used under authorisation.

Users must not use New High Education’s name, logo, brand identity, or platform visuals in a way that:

  • Suggests official partnership without permission
  • Misleads the public
  • Damages the reputation of New High Education
  • Promotes unauthorised services
  • Creates confusion with New High Education services
  • Is used for commercial gain without written approval

Any authorised use of NHE branding must follow New High Education’s written instructions.


6. AI-Generated Educational Content

The NHE Tutor App may generate educational explanations, lessons, practice questions, worked answers, summaries, or other learning support using artificial intelligence.

AI-generated content is provided for educational support only. Users may use AI Tutor responses for personal learning and revision, but they must not misuse them for cheating, plagiarism, unauthorised commercial publication, or misleading representation.

New High Education may claim rights in the structure, format, presentation, learning design, app workflow, prompt system, and educational delivery method used to generate and present AI Tutor content.

Users are responsible for how they use AI-generated content and must follow the AI Tutor Use Policy, Student Code of Conduct, Terms and Conditions, and Academic Integrity rules.


7. User-Submitted Content

Users may submit questions, prompts, text, documents, images, audio, or other materials through the NHE Tutor App.

Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to submit any content they upload or provide.

Users must not submit content that:

  • Belongs to another person without permission
  • Violates copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights
  • Contains copyrighted textbooks, exam papers, images, or materials shared unlawfully
  • Contains private information they are not authorised to share
  • Is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or inappropriate

By submitting content to the NHE Tutor App, users grant New High Education permission to process, store, display, analyse, transmit, and use that content as necessary to provide the service, generate AI Tutor responses, improve learning support, maintain safety, investigate misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

This does not mean New High Education claims ownership of all personal content submitted by users.


8. Third-Party Content

The NHE Tutor App or website may include or refer to third-party content, services, links, tools, educational references, videos, images, documents, software libraries, or resources.

Such third-party content remains the property of its respective owners.

New High Education does not claim ownership of third-party materials unless expressly stated.

Users must comply with any applicable third-party terms, copyright notices, licences, and usage restrictions.


9. Open-Source and Licensed Software

The NHE Tutor App may use open-source software, third-party libraries, frameworks, APIs, cloud services, AI services, or licensed tools.

Such software and services remain subject to their respective licences and terms.

Nothing in this Copyright Notice transfers ownership of third-party software, open-source components, or licensed technologies to New High Education or users.


10. Educational References and Curriculum Materials

New High Education may create learning support materials inspired by or aligned with educational topics, curriculum areas, school subjects, or examination-style learning needs.

Unless otherwise stated, New High Education does not claim ownership of public curriculum frameworks, official government documents, examination body materials, textbooks, or third-party educational resources.

Users must not upload, copy, distribute, or misuse protected curriculum materials, textbooks, past papers, mark schemes, or third-party educational content unless they have the legal right to do so.


11. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content on the NHE Tutor App or New High Education website infringes your copyright or intellectual property rights, please contact us immediately.

Your report should include:

  • Your full name
  • Your organisation, if applicable
  • Your contact email and phone number
  • Description of the copyrighted work
  • Location of the allegedly infringing content on the app or website
  • Evidence that you own or are authorised to act for the copyright owner
  • A statement explaining why you believe the use is unauthorised
  • Any supporting documents or links

12. Response to Copyright Complaints

When New High Education receives a copyright complaint, we may:

  • Review the complaint
  • Request more information
  • Temporarily restrict or remove the content
  • Contact the user who submitted the content
  • Investigate whether the content was lawfully used
  • Restore content where the complaint is not supported
  • Permanently remove content where infringement is confirmed
  • Suspend or terminate accounts involved in repeated or serious infringement

New High Education will act reasonably and in good faith when handling copyright complaints.


13. Repeat Infringement

Users who repeatedly upload, share, request, or distribute infringing content may have their access restricted, suspended, or permanently terminated.

Serious infringement may also be reported to relevant authorities or handled through legal action where appropriate.


14. No Transfer of Ownership

Using the NHE Tutor App, website, AI Tutor, learning materials, or related services does not transfer ownership of any New High Education content, software, brand, design, database, system, or intellectual property to the user.

Users receive only a limited permission to use the platform and content for authorised educational purposes, subject to New High Education’s policies and Terms and Conditions.


15. Requests for Permission

If you wish to use New High Education content, branding, screenshots, learning materials, app designs, or platform resources beyond personal learning or authorised educational use, you must request written permission.

  • Your full name
  • Organisation name, if applicable
  • Content you want to use
  • Purpose of use
  • Where it will be used
  • Whether it is for commercial or non-commercial use

New High Education may approve, reject, limit, or withdraw permission at its discretion.


16. Breach of This Copyright Notice

If a user breaches this Copyright Notice, New High Education may take action, including:

  • Removing infringing content
  • Restricting access
  • Suspending the account
  • Terminating account access
  • Refusing future registration
  • Requesting the removal of copied content from third-party platforms
  • Reporting infringement to relevant platforms or authorities
  • Taking legal action where necessary
